This is my 400th blog post and I think it calls for a celebration, don't you? Now, since I have been blogging nearly 4 years, obviously, I am not the most prolific blogger to have only made it to 400 posts, but I want to thank those of you that stop by on a regular basis, and also to welcome anyone who may be visiting for the first time.
As a prize to go along with this milestone post, I'm going to give away a few of my favorite quilting tools. Please leave a comment on my blog between now and midnight on Sunday, March 1 to be entered to win this adorable pincushion in a ceramic bowl with hand-made woodsy character pins (made by Etsy seller Pinks & Needles), a package of Schmetz quilting needles (I use them for all of my piecing), a spool of Presencia thread (my thread of choice for all my sewing) and a box of my favorite Clover fine, extra long, glass head quilting pins. It's me again! The non-blogger who is this much closer to actually becoming a blogger. If I keep lurking on beautiful quilting blogs such as yours, I will be sucked in for sure.

I actually respect you for blogging only when you have something to say. It makes your blog much more enjoyable and meaningful for your readers. Imagine how disappointing it is to check into a blog you frequent only to have it say "I'm busy and will blog more later" or "Watch for so-and-so's new release" (along with 50 other bloggers working for that company). Congratulations on your 400th blog and your upstanding integrity!

The owl pincushion is adorable! Did you make that? Cute gift idea for sewing friends, with the little woodsy characters. And, I'm searching for an owl fabric now that I know I had seen a few weeks ago in browns and aquas for a baby boy quilt..now to find that material!!

I love your site & printed off a couple quilts to show my grandmother who used to be an avid quilter, and doesn't have a computer. She will love the colors & patterns....especially the orangie one. Great job.
